About the Owner and SWONE Collection History

The owner of SWONE Collection, Anastasia Volchko is originally from Belarus, a country that is geographically located in Europe, but is not in the part of the EU. She was born in 1999 and moved to U.K in 2012 to study at private boarding school. She was always interested in Art and Photography, however never thought she is talented enough to pursue a career in any of the field, thus decides to keep it as her hobby and study BA Business and Management as a bachelor degree instead. After finishing her studies in University of Reading, she decided to move to London and obtain MSc International Marketing. However, in the middle of the master degree, she felt like life is more to life than studies or 9-5 job. Therefore, after she got inspired by London, she decided to invest her savings into an "unrealistic" dream. Anastasia finds a supplier of Italian fabric, professional manufacturers and clothes constructors. After building up a successful team, she creates her own masks and clothes designs, which are truly representation of her personality. She says: "I was always chubby and not fully comfortable with my body, however after designing SWONE Collection, I finally found some clothes that I truly feel so beautiful and feminine". Although it was a hard work, Ms Volchko believes that every women deserves to feel happy and accepted the way she is now. Thus, she hopes her collection will allow ladies of any size, race and age to feel exactly the same way.
